The AAC continues to run proactive projects; research the effects of, and develop, implement and advocate for wide ranging solutions to, racism; and consistently promote human rights and community relations. The AAC also maintains our advocacy and communication with media, government, community organisations, business and the public, constantly raising the profile of issues of concern to all Australians.

+	Government liaison The AAC continues to communicate with political leaders, the media and the wider community to encourage them to refrain from attributing blame for these events to any particular race or religion. more...

Issues ++

+	Palestine For over 50 years now, the Palestinians have been subject to a harsh and inhumane Israeli rule. As Australians, we urge the government to work towards an unconditional end to Israel’s continuing, and illegitimate, violations of Palestinian human rights.
+	Iraq The AAC has worked hard to heighten awareness in Australia of the effects of sanctions on the Iraq people, and advocated for the lifting of the sanctions to facilaite rebuilding of infrastructure and the availability of medicines and essential services.
