Palestine

For over 50 years now, the Palestinians have been subject to a harsh and inhumane Israeli rule. As Australians, we urge the government to work towards an unconditional end to Israel’s continuing, and illegitimate, violations of Palestinian human rights.

Background on Palestine

The AAC urges the Australian government to take a firmer stance on the current and ongoing human rights abuses occurring in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. For over 50 years now, the Palestinians have been subject to a harsh and inhumane Israeli rule. As Australians, we urge the government to work towards an unconditional end to Israel’s continuing, and illegitimate, violations of Palestinian human rights by supporting universal human rights enshrined in international laws that are designed to protect the dignity, independence and safety of all people. We encourage our government to work towards the implementation of UN Resolutions 242 & 338, as supported by all Australian political parties.
