The AAC encourages all Australians to take an active interest in the courageous activities of the 750 men and women onboard the Freedom Flotilla.

This group of internationally registered vessels is approaching the besieged Gaza Strip with medical supplies and construction materials and school supplies. Israel has announced it will block the docking of the boats and has recently declared the areas off the Gazan coast closed to international sea traffic. The Freedom Flotilla has defied Israel and its warning and intends to land in Gaza with its supplies.

As importantly, the activists aboard these boats carry a message to the people of Gaza that the international community stands with them as they continue to endure Israel's stranglehold.
